First-year NC State head coach Will Wade continues to make waves in the transfer portal, landing his sixth addition with the commitment of 2025 Final Four participant Terrance Arceneaux.
Arceneaux, a 6-foot-6, 205-pound wing, spent three seasons at Houston before entering the transfer portal earlier this month. Just over two weeks later, he announced his commitment to Wade and the Wolfpack on Friday. He joins an impressive transfer class that already includes former Florida State forward Jerry Deng, Butler forward Colt Langdon, Michigan State point guard Tre Holloman, and two of Wade’s former McNeese State standouts, Alyn Breed and Quadir Copeland.
Last season, Arceneaux appeared in all 40 games for Houston’s 35-5 squad, averaging 6.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 0.9 steals in 20.3 minutes per game. He shot 44.3 percent from the field, 33.7 percent from three-point range, and 72.9 percent from the free-throw line. A Texas native, Arceneaux is rated as a four-star transfer and ranks No. 134 overall in the 247Sports Transfer Rankings.
On top of the six transfer additions, the Wolfpack is also set to bring in two elite four-star prospects from the 2025 recruiting class: Christ School (N.C.) power forward Zymicah Wilkins and Sagemont Prep (Fla.) shooting guard Matt Able.
